You can still do Django. It's nothing popular, but you can still do some web development with this funny syntax.
JavaScript is more traumatizing. I couldn't learn about OOP and anything useful for a year due to the amount of language specific stuff.
I learned more CSS than programming because of the JS. It's weird.
Ok. I don't think I will need more than C#, PHP, JS and Python. This is enough for now I think.

Php based frameworks such as laravel, codeignitor and yii2 (my personal favourite).
Node/react based frameworks like nextjs.
Python based frameworks like flask and django.
Ruby based frameworks like rails.
There could be more, but these are the most popular according to my experience (in terms of working as a professional, not counting wp). Also, yup I am biased when it comes to technology stacks. Take my data with a grain of salt lol.

back then there werent really much frameworks, its just a modern thing for hobby programmers who don't know how to do things themselfs.
who do you think codes all these frameworks? senior developers who know their shit.

And yet, you do not code one of those frameworks but build your own. And I feel deep sorrow for anyone who will be forced to work on your code.
Guys, please, be smart, use frameworks.
Unless you want to build things only for yourself and do not plan to sell your result.
Frameworks and standards are there for reasons, not only to ease your work and increase speed, but most importantly - so your work follows the best practices and is maintainable by other devs as well.

because i dont like frameworks? you are very naive
well you havent seen my code, yet you assume things just based on your own opinion, sorry but thats just lame.
FYI i worked with fortune 500 companies and my code is clean enough for others to read, never had any complaints sofar.
you dont need to use frameworks if you know what you are doing. in fact it will have much better performance. hobby programmers just load tons of different frameworks for just a few functions they need.
this makes the whole thing bloated and possibly insecure. the other thing is that they dont even understand what the functions from the framework actually do and how they work. this can lead to many problems.
that being said, you can use frameworks if you want, but its not the best way to go in any case like you are suggesting.
i mean by your logic the guys who code frameworks are stupid as they create code without using other frameworks too lol so your logic doesnt make sense.
linux kernel programmers dont use any frameworks, yet produce good clean code. it always depends what you are coding.

If you are talking about PHP alone, then what I said above is true. You are outdated. Can you build a website like YouTube without any frameworks? You can, but you don't know how many months it will take for you to build it from scratch. But, if you use a right framework, you can do it much more faster than doing it from scratch. I bet that you did not check any advancements in the frameworks in the recent times. Also, How will you build a website using python or ruby without a framework? do you think that a single person could do that from scratch?

By how you search I can tell you are affected by confirmation bias. You find one article against frameworks and think it's a viable source to share, but there will be thousands of articles why you should use frameworks. The same behavior can be seen with anti-vaxxers and conspiracists.
That is why I want to know something, I google the opposite of what I think, e.g. - instead of googling "why frameworks bad", you should search "why frameworks good".
But you do you, old-timer. I've noted that guys your age thinks that they know best, and their opinion can't be affected or changed, so I will not even try. My old stepdad(graphic designer) is exactly the same. No one wants his works anymore and he says it's because he's 'overqualified' and no one can't afford him. But in reality he uses techniques used 20 years ago, well, back then he was a kickass designer tbh. Nowadays, those designs are considered outdated.
The world changes, it moves very quickly, and if one want to survive in professional consultancy business, they must change along with it.

Whatever you said is true, but your words are so bad that it may hurt him. He is a well experienced person, and of course he is better than both of us. I can easily understand that from his words. He is using his old techniques and we can't blindly say that it's bad and should be avoided. He has a lot of experience to do it in that way, but it's not suitable for all. that's it.

Linux is like a CPU of the computer. Frameworks are like spare parts of it. So, the CPU should work fine in order for the spare parts to work correctly. There is no meaning in the comparison of Linux with web frameworks.
