Which program laguage is better?

Hey guys just a simple question: I am about to start learning a new (and my first) program language. I want it to help in this IM business, more specifically blackhat things like coding scripts to automatically do stuff. I know that is a little general, but for your experience which is the language that has helped you more in this industry?

My suggestion is scripting language along with PHP, HTML5, CSS3.

Learn Python then move into server side scripting.

PHP and JAva is the best language..The Scope of this languages never finished.

PHP is going to start dying. Allot of people still use it but Ruby on Rails is a far superior language.

It completely depends on what you want to achieve. Java is a good language to learn because the principals will transfer across to most other languages, especially C, C++ and C#

I'm learning Java, it has lots of features that makes it simply the best programming language, but there's so so many things to learn. I'm leraning it for 5-6 hours a day and I still need about 6-8 months to say that I'm a Java programmer.

If you're starting fun with programing I strongly recommend ZennoPoster (and no - I'm not reseller or affiliate etc) - it's just a basic intruducion to programming. Really easy and very fast if you want to make bots. You can lean ZP in 2 weeks and this will teach you programming logic etc.

For example a bot for filtering spamm domains (when you are loooking for expired domains) can be done with PHP?

I built my site using Ruby on Rails.

This Web Application Framework seems to be the hottest standard out there atm.

I am learning python. I have heard it is a great starter language because there is less failure points. Ruby is popular.

I suggest you study PHP. It's one of the best scripting language available for web functionalities.

I suggest PHP (you will need to get a good understanding about HTML and CSS at first)
