So I'm familiar with the "All in One SEO Pack" but i've also considered installing
"WordPress SEO by Yoast"

Any recommendations?

All in one seo pack is the best tool for SEO. I am also using All in One SEO Pack and i am satisfy that tool. It's give me better result always and i am happy with this tool....

You should try platinum seo. Its like all in one seo but better. it can also transfer the setting from all in one seo to it.

CoyoteAssassin has shared a wonderful list of Top 100 WordPress Plug Ins

I think this thread will fulfill your needs.

I am using WP SEO (WordPress SEO by Yoast) and I am loving it! :) Just remember to use it smart.

yoast is good. they helped me in panda n penguin attacks

can you please say a few words about it? i cant understand how a seo wp plugin helped you... was it its default settings of something like that?

What about SeoPressor? I find that really good and easy to use

SEOPressor is a premium plugin for Onpage optimization only, while WP SEO by Yoast is a complete SEO pack for WordPress, and it's free :)

Don't be fooled with some tiny features that do not matter much. It really doesn't matter would you use Wordpress Seo, Platinum SEO, All in one seo, Ultimate Seo... They all have something unique (those tiny features that don't matter much) but the core features are the same for all of them and they do the same thing - on page optimization.

You can have personal preferences but your site will be quite good whichever you pick if you follow plugin's guidance.

i used yoast, but unfortunately when i did, i got 404 errors on all my pages you would click on. i ggogled and saw other people had this problem but i could never find anything that was clear enough for me to do to stop it. everyone explained fixes as if you are a professional programmer. unfortunately, i am far from it

Yoast is the best, and people are starting to catch on to that. With All-In-One, you'll have to install additional plugins for features Yoast has built in. It's like the utorrent or Firefox of seo plugins.

Although I don't know if I like the fact that almost every one of us is using Wordpress, and Wordpress only. I'm trying to get more Joomla and Drupal sites up, just for a balanced site profile.

I am using Wordpress SEO by Yoast
Especially I like Xml Sitemap functionality allowing me to control aspects of what content will show

In the focus keyword section, how many keywords do you use? Thanks!

Yoast. Make sure you visit his site and go thru the guide for all of the various settings and what they do.

I've tried Yoast, SEO all in One, and Infinite SEO.

I think I probably like Yoast the best out of the three.

Yoast is my preferred SEO Plugin.

Be careful not too over optimize on site SEO.

Don't spam keyword all over your site.
Do Use lots of Bold.
Sparingly use H1 and H2 tags.
