Every platform seems to be changing weekly.
For those active on multiple channels, which one still gives you the most steady traffic YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook?
Curious what’s been the most reliable for you lately.

Youtube, as usual! Best platform for converting HQ traffic.

Cheap traffic
Tiktok
Facebook

I think most consistent traffic worldwide among YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook — and which I’d lean toward if I were choosing one right now.
  • Facebook still boasts the largest user base globally (≈ 3 billion monthly active users).
  • YouTube has ~2.5–2.7 billion monthly users and is the dominant video‑platform globally.
  • TikTok is growing very fast as a traffic driver, but its share is still smaller (social‑referral traffic, in one study ~0.5% of total web traffic globally).
  • Instagram is strong, especially for visual & lifestyle content, but data on it being the most stable traffic source compared with search or long‑form content is weaker.

reddit no one comes close specially with the niche category go to all the niche related subreddit and start attracting the traffic ( if you spam or have no marketing skill please dont since you will more likly will get ban if you spam or keep on pushing the link to any website but once you learn how to do it properly you have a souce for your traffic.

I’m seeing YouTube remain the most stable for long-term traffic since search + recommendations keep content alive. Instagram and TikTok can still hit hard but feel more volatile with recent algo shifts. Facebook Groups surprisingly stay steady for niche traffic. Curious what others are seeing too

TikTok videos, Instagram Reels; plus YouTube Shorts. They are all good options.

Facebook. The most expensive, but stable and well-paid traffic, no matter how much we tested, as a result, we only work with Facebook.

YouTube still gives steady traffic for many since videos work long term. Once a video ranks, it can keep pulling views for months, but the algo is crazy I don't know what works anymore, feels like i'm doing a roulette everytime I upload a vid

Here’s the most common pattern creators are reporting lately, especially those active on multiple

Only Google...almost zero from socials, I have zero followers and is hard to make the first step...

End of 2025, the only platform still giving me dead-consistent traffic with zero followers is:

1. YouTube Shorts – still king (60-80% of my traffic). Faceless, voiceless, repurposed content goes viral daily.
2. Pinterest – silent monster. One good pin drives traffic for 6-12+ months on autopilot.
3. Google Discover / Web Stories – can send 5-50k visits overnight with zero social following.

Everything else for new accounts:
- TikTok → grows fastest but can die overnight
- Instagram/Facebook Reels → basically pay-to-play now
- Reddit/Twitter → tons of views, almost zero clicks

Tested across 40+ niches this year. If you’re starting from scratch, spam YouTube Shorts + Pinterest and you’ll have steady, growing traffic in weeks without praying to the algorithm gods every day.

I agree, but only partially. YouTube Shorts and TikTok can definitely gain views easily, but they aren't a good fit for everyone. In my project, for example, I focus on writing, and it just doesn't blend well with video content.

Pinterest, for me, is an absolute disaster. I'm not sure if it’s because my content isn't in English.

I gave up on Reddit and Quora. Maybe it's because I'm using accounts that are too new, but they practically ban my channels after a day or soft-ban my account.

I believe that beyond the niche, the language truly matters. As long as we stick to English, we can have discussions that are generally valid for most people. However, I think many of us try to create content in our native language, perhaps to face less competition, and that's where the rules change completely. For instance, posting content in Italian right now, I find social platforms like Tumblr, as well as newer ones like Bluesky, to be completely useless.

The thing that frustrates me is that Google doesn't seem to think my content is bad at all, given that it keeps sending me traffic. Yet, on social media, people who just 'like' anything or take polls like 'find out what kind of vegetable you are' completely overlook my work.

Reddit is pretty much as good as it gets for pretty much any niche, if you know the right communities/subreddits to post in.
