Which operating system will be faster for me?

yesterday i just bought a 512mb ram VPS for a year.
I need to run multiple firefox profiles for my imacros(firefox addon) bot.
Which windows will be faster among these
windows server 2012 r2
windows 2008 r2
windows 2003 ent cn
windows xp sp3
windows 2003
windows 2012
windows server 2012
windows xp home edition
i already installed linux(debian) but i am not be able to create firefox profiles on it ( no tut available on google)
please tell me which windows will be good without hanging and i need to run atleast 2-3 firefox profiles on it

None of those operatings systems will run with 512MB of ram!
The only ones you might get away with is windows XP - but it would be REALLY slow.
Or maybe 2012 core mode (No GUI) - Im sure it also has a minimum ram spec if 512MB? But Im sure it would not run well AT ALL.
Really that VPS is no good for what you need.

thanks for your input.
I have one windows xp lite edition which consists only basic drivers and almost 200-300mb.it is very fast.Can i install it in this vps?
I see there we can only mount images of predefined windows\os but is there any way of installling my own windows?
 
You need more RAM. I would say get at least 1GB RAM to run multiple profiles.
 
Are still there 512mb ram VPS for sale around???

get windows 98/95 or even 3.1 :)

you could try to install a damn small linux distro and see if you get anywhere with it but basically... there are phones with more RAM than you have on the VPS and they go for ~50-100$
 
Yeah you're gonna need 1gb at least, probably stretch to 2gb if I were you.

I am using ubuntu. I tried this myself tonight and it worked.
right click on desktop -> create launcher ->
the name and comment can be whatever. the command part is the important part.

firefox %u -P --no-remote

I would never go this route... much too complicated
and it is a huge waste of resources.

Personally, if I needed to run on windows, I would get
a dedi to start. Then log into it as admin and create
as many sub/user accounts as I wanted.

Use a different user account for each firefox instance.

You will also, normally, get 10 unique ips. Or, you can
set up a proxy inside the options of firefox for each user.

Furthermore, if you don't want to do so, there is no need
to register any domains in order to run firefox as each user.

edit: I do wonder though, if you can install more than one
instance of firefox manually in subdirectories. C:\ (root)...
ffone\firefox.exe, fftwo\firefox.exe, etc. You might be able
to run them all under the same user (like you have it set
up already)... then you can judge when things start to
bog down -- trial & error.
