Hello guys,
I think this is my first post here and certainly won't be the last.
PS: English is not my native

Okay guys, straight to my question.

I am searching for an advice for the next sure business venture that has a high possibility to give a good ROI. Having saved $1200. more like a life savings :( i am skeptical about jumping into a business that might not profit me knowing how much it cost me to save this amount after getting out of failed venture, now am at home, all day indefinitely. Looking a possible means to scale this.

In summary:
Total capital : $1200
Got any Skill: Yes

All advice is welcome and i sincerely appreciate.

Web design (Wordpress & Shopify) skill, Front end development (react.js) finding it difficult getting a job due to my Geo:alien:. So want to start my own online business

Maybe some Adsense based website? or amazon affiliate but you need more capital than 1.2k$ :)
 
If 1200 $ are your only life savings then I would't recommend spending them on IM because it is risky business. At first try somethibg for free like ranking a website or doing seo then if you feel you know your game, you can invest some money to grow it.
 
You can try to freelance for some extra cash... and you can invest a small amount (less than $100) in a domain and make a blog
 
you can invest on marketing and I hope you will earn huge profit from here per day. best of luck
 
1. Why risk the $1200 if it's taken you so long to save it you don't have to use all of it.

2. You are going to fail. Why? Because you are asking us what you should do, do your own research pick something you have an interest in. IF you can't come up with your own idea or do your own research to start being self employed is not for you.

3. There are no ROIs without work - the fact you started the post "which online business?" without even outlining your current choices, what you can and can't do shows you are not going to put the time in.

4. There are no guarantees with a business.

5. If you need to "scale" that $1200 get a job.
 
"Sure" business venture. There's no such thing. Otherwise we'd be saving $1200 and investing it into a new business daily.

You're going to need more than $1200 for any business. Use your skills you have to set up an account here/ upwork/ freelancer to earn more $$. Or use the money to start a business in what you already know.
 
How long I must ask??

It took me 8 years to build that much money but when I had acquired skills and tricks that I know were 100% going to work I invested that money into it.All in one go and now I am into 2 businesses and 1 JV.Earning more than what I invested in one week. "Fate favors the brave". But if you are not sure about it, then wait till you are sure about it.

I'd say to look into starting a "real" business rather than IM. With that little money, you want to have something to show at the end, rather than just an affiliate site thats been delisted by Google and is basically worthless. I'd say find a product or service that you can provide. You say that you are skilled in web design - how about looking for web design clients in your area? Then you can build off this, but I wouldn't recommend throwing your life savings at a random BHW method thread.
