Yea I was wondering that too. Also was wondering something else for the butterfly marketing script for those of you who have use it. Can you make your One Time Offer using a affiliate program like for instance your affiliate of clickbank and you want to promote one of their product as a one time offer can you do that with just using a redirect or would you have to rewrite the whole sale page? Because I was wondering how they would get into the membership if you use a redirect or if they purchase the product

Using a ClickBank product as an affiliate is definitely NOT a one time offer... How are you going to give them a better One Time Deal if you don't own the product?

I think you are missing the whole point of a One Time Offer and therefore should not even have one. If you're whole line of thinking about a OTO is to have one just because everyone else has one then it will fail...

The OTO has to have extreme value, not a hap-hazard last minute thought.

Using a script and being all fancy is NOT necessary at all... Simply put a OTO page after the purchase page with a link at the bottom that allows the user to either purchase the OTO or go to the download area for the products they paid for.

Cannot agree with you more Blackhatrebel. That is the truth right there.

When I was looking for ideas for a OTO myself I was thinking of just putting together a bunch of resale rights stuff as a back-end and no matter how I hyped up the sales page it did not convert well at all. Plus it really didn't match or go in line with what I was selling on the front end.

So take note of that too.

    - Like BHR said don't just do a OTO because every Tom, Dick and Harry are doing it. If you need one then put the time in and write the sales page yourself and add products that have value and you know your customers would want it. Create that urgency.

    - Don't make the mistake I made. Make sure your back-end OTO matches what you're selling on the front end. Like if you were selling a golf guide ebook on the front end, then your OTO could be a subscription to a monthly membership where you offer golf articles each month at $xx.xx

    - Lastly if you still need a OTO software or an OTO page...You may want to check out hxxp://0t0g0ldmine.c0m (Not an affiliate link) Go there, sign up, it's free. Thank me later.

Cash - Agree with the use of the above site especially if one is just getting started and not sure of what to promote or how to put an OTO in play. It's what I first started out with.

Also, Cash you are dead right about making sure the OTO you present is with the topic/niche you are building your list with or using after a purchase of a product. Made the mistake myself.

0t0goldmine is is great for targeting IM newbies.

Now, I use re-worked PLR products that I use.

I was wondering something with the bfm. is there a way to set up more than 1 first product? Like the first sale and then the OTOs, or do I have to set up a different bfm backend (or site) for each first product I want to sell?
