There is not an easy or hard method of SEO. But, there is the methods which work and methods that won't work effectively. BTW, the easiest SEO method is to think long term that gives results forever, instead of looking for quick tricks and short-term fixes.
You should think of the reader and what makes sense and works for them and you have to meet all the search engine requirements (Unique, fresh content, Social media shares, mobile friendly, page speed, articles with images and videos)

seriously, use the bloody search option in the forum, this gets asked at least 10 times a day, i'm sure many others on this forum are sick of it too, all you need to do is search through threads in this forum and you will find the relevant information that you're looking for, stop being that lazy

If your website content and structure is good and well optimized then some quality backlinks and social signals will give better result. You need to be careful at anchor text diversification as well.
