Which one is beter: dropshipping or affiliate marketing?

I am currently still researching these two (and have for a few weeks) but don't know which one I want to try. Which one would you advise a noob to start doing? Is it true that the dropshipping ship has sailed? (unintended pun)

Look, you can't compare things like that, some guys made tons of money with one method and some of them failed, so you have to try both of them to find out, and affiliate marketing is not like 1 site selling affiliate products, you can try 1000000000000 different methods with both aff marketing and dropshipping.

Building your own business is ALWAYS better than building someone else's.

Doesnt matter if its dropshipping or not
