vult, digital ocean or linode , u cant go wrong with either one, and they all give u at least 1 month trial

There is a good diversity of VPS services here and over there. I mean - it could be linux or Windows. Can be managed or unmanaged and have various virtualization. Also server location remains one of the most important things.
And in each niche some users can determine some providers as best ones.

It depends on your market, area of influence and language.
Europe/Italian? English/WW? English/India? Spanish/WW?
For Europe I would clearly say Hetzner
For English/Anywhere I would say Digital Ocean
For English/specifically USA, Upcloud
Avoid at all costs: Azure, Lightsail, Hostinger and OVH. Specially OVH.

Vultr, digital Ocean and linode are good vps in my opinion they give free trial also

There is no best vps and the best vps is one that meeting operations from your website.So firstly,just think about what is your operations.If you just host a wp,you can start with web hosting at cheap.VPS is better than Web hosting with dedicated ip and root access. 1v cpu 2g ram is enough for only page and pic website.

The best VPS is about exact users' feeling. If user is happy he/she believes they are using the best VPS.

Been using Digital Ocean for awhile, I am overall pretty satisfied with it.
Was able to scale my servers up before certain dates when I know I will have overloaded high traffic
Was able set up backups to offsets them to multiple servers to reduce load times as backup when needed.
It's probably not the cheapest in the market, but for it's performance so far, it's affordable.
One thing I learnt throughout the years, Hosting is one thing you can't cheap out on.

I think that hosting service should be affordable first of all, "cheap" is rather definition which refers to service quality.

I assume that depends on the content hosted and on the location.
I have seen 2 group of people : the ones who likes them and the ones which do not recommend them.
