Nothing is perfect, but that's the point.
People have to try stuff out, and see what works, and what doesn't.

I know it looked like a joke, but I have done it and it brings SOME results.
It's no $50/day method.

But for a $4 investment + some cheap hosting, anyone can learn a valuable deal.
Not to mention all the keywords you'll get in GSC.

Every webmaster is going to be curious to see who linked back to them "Uuu, a backlink let's check it out".
1% of the owners will approve the backlink, and you will get traffic for at least a year from those links.

Get 1 mill webmasters to visit your page, and even with a $1 CPM, you can still make money to pay for gas all year long.
Do it not 100, but 20 times.

It can bring some bucks in the house until you find the next best thing.

Yes, I completely agree with you. Even I gave a Ha Ha reaction to your original post, but it was an appreciation of the hilarious way you wrote it, I was certainly not joking at it, I was appreciating it. :)

It is true that ANY method that helps bring SOME kind of revenue is worth doing. Afterall nothing is less important in IM.

Simple things kind a look too good for be good and still can happen.
 
Amazon affiliate with Instagram reels and Youtube Shorts works really fine, it´s not that old, but it´s not a new method either.
