Lenovo t420 when I'm on the go. 5-7 hours wi-fi on, balanced pwm.

Macbook AIR i7 with all the trimmings 
HP TM2 but now lcd broken need to replace it... holds on for 3-4 hours with wifi...
Before that had an asus eee pc 901 that could run even 5 hours with wifi and brightness dimmed a little bit Heck you could get even double cell batteries from ebay that i think could pull 8 hours of work
Too bad its a small netbook with 9 inch lcd.

Your current one lasts 3 - 4 hours. Get two spare batteries. That is my tip of the day.

in my perception you should take a drawing note pad and whatever you see during your traveling just try to draw that this book will not last before 10-15 hours

I use my Macbook pro all the time.. When i'm home it's hooked up to a 27" screen, mouse and keyboard. And when i'm at school i just use it normal.
