Thanks for reading my question.

I'm new to niche finding.

I'm making a philosophy section for my website and i'm trying to decide which keyword phrase I should go for. This is a long term white hat seo site that I will keep up for the next decade.

originally i just put everything under the banner of philosophy. But i'm thinking that maybe I should choose a more unique keyword and start ranking for that. i.e. i could call the section "existentialism" and start using that as my anchor text.

Any suggestions much appreciated

:o thannks

a newbie

Yes, but how would you monetize existentialism?

On the other hand, although, to my mind, its religion, not philosophy, people do pay for books of prayer...

cheers,

Leigh

true i don't really know how to monetize philosophy or existentialism.

but if my goal was trying to just get raw traffic...which should i hit?

You monetize it with books.
I have masters in philosophy btw so would like to see your site as its of my interest.

Why not pick 10 of those niches, write/spin 1 long article of content for each niche, and have 10 different sub-pages corresponding to different keywords?

Supplement your efforts by using a web 2.0 linkwheel (search for it here) and building powerful backlinks from ******** websites to your sub pages.

These methods will get you traffic from google within 4 - 8 weeks. However, if you are not doing this for financial reward, the workload involved may be too much.

Oops

I got banned for posting too many little replies too fast an an effort to raise my post count so i could make a post with the following pic so i could ask my question in a more clear way.

:rain: Ever have one of those days? :o

Oh well back now.

Thanks for your posts hence far. I'll try to rephrase:

If you plan on making a long term ever-growing community website which will hopefully get a dedicated user base, which method is better to structure your directory tree. (see below)

e.g. should i just keep pounding away at highly specific niche keywords, or should i go for more of a "catch all" approach in a major category?

thanks!!!
