I’ve found that picking one main income stream and using the others to support it keeps me from running in circles. Having even a small digital product helped too, since it filters out the folks who are just window shopping.

It’s honestly a shift toward ownership, as relying solely on display ads leaves you vulnerable to programmatic RPM drops, whereas building and selling your own digital assets allows you to fully monetize audience trust without sharing the margin with third-party networks. While high-converting affiliate links are great for scaling early in specialized niches, long-term revenue stability almost always comes from direct product control...

I learned the hard way that mixing too many money methods too fast can make a blog feel like a yard sale. What helped me was picking one main earner and letting the others play backup. Keeping the trust vibe strong usually makes clicks feel more natural, especially with affiliate stuff. Digital products can be a slow burn, but once they catch on, they tend to pay off without much extra work.
