Hi guys,
Just wondering which methods people use when building a larger or authority site. Let's say the website is about football (and football based goods) and in this specific instance we are writing about football boots. Which method do you use/prefer/find works better?
Method A: Individual pages for each brand of football boot, e.g. xxxxxx.com/nike-football-boots and then a 500-1000 word article with various headers related to Nike Football boots.
Method B: One large article (3,000+ words) with all brands covered, using h2 or h3 tags for each brand and having as many brand related keywords/phrases in there as possible, e.g.
Nike football boots (h2 or h3 tag)
xxxxx words content
Adidas football boots (h2 or h3 tag)
Etc...
I am torn between the two as some pages seem to rank better for method A and some for B.
I guess it wouldn't be wise to do both as it may cause an issue with ranking, or is best to cover absolutely all bases possible?
Thoughts ?
Thanks.
