    Hey guys,

I'm after a membership plugin for my client and I'm unsure what to use.

    - It needs to have a free trial and paid option.
    - If it has a built-in affiliate program option that is a bonus
    - I have already built sales page and actual online course (I need something that will lock a portion of the content and unlock it once they sign up - be nice if it can lock by post and category).

I've had a look at a few, but looking for a solid recommendation instead of looking through 100 threads on each.

    Thanks!

Digital Access Pass (DAP) will do what you need. It also has a built-in affiliate program.

these recommendations are from February 2013. He has changed his mind for 2014 and removed Wishlist Member from his list and few others. His top 2 picks are MemberPass and MemberMouse. Here is his latest list.

I tried MemberMouse and didn't like it since everything has to be associated with either a product, membership level or group and you can't customize your automated message per membership level. Plus I saw a few comments online about their support being slow. I am going with DAP since I have a lot of flexibility and everyone says their support is top notch. I do like their reporting feature. But I found an alternative to use with DAP when I get things set up called Putler.

I found this video on Youtube, that helped me make me make my decision to stick with DAP.

DAP is very complicated to setup and has a UI that is stuck in the 80's.
