V.2 is the best as for me. V1 and V4 are toо massive and difficult for the perception because of the tree. V3 is too simple. And V5 I just don't like
 
V.2 is looking attractive and charming. I'd like to suggest you this one because it is looking like designed by a professional and mature designer.
 
I would choose v.3 Versions 2 and 4 associate with something Chineese or Japaneese, was that intented?
 
Which one did you use in the end OP? I would have gone v3.
 
#2 is the best as it gives the simplicity feel.
 
Mate, Finally you can select V1 or V2. Mostly I prefer V2. That's simply good.
 
From a branding perspective, v3. V2 looks too much like an oriental restaurant ;) A simple rule of thumb, with any branding that you choose - a child should be able to draw it from memory.
 
#3 but the T looks like an I. It also kind of looks like a restaurant logo , just from viewing the graphics.
 
For me it's between V.1 and V.2 if I had to pic one of them I would choose V.2 that way you don't
have to commit the whole design of the company around a woodsy feel if you ever wanted to change that.
 
V2 , as for others - it's not recommended making a first letter of the word 'hard to read'. Simple is better.
