Which logo do you like? This is for my site.

Hai there B-hatter,

I just finish design nine (9) logo for my forum.
And now i trim it to four (4) final selection.

Need your vote (or advice) here.
Which one is better?

*the number sequel is from top to bottom (No.1 - No.4)

Honestly i also dont know which one to use..
But it seems that No.2 and No.3 is racing towards the end now..

If i HAD to choose with a gun to my head. I would choose Number 3, but I would move the icon to the left side.

I usually vote for the simplest logo, unless you are specifically trying to show off your skills as a graphic designer. In this case, I believe #1 gets the message across and looks the cleanest. I really do not like the color scheme or logo in #2 and #3. I like how the bubble in #1 kind of points to the .asia and the main phrase so your eyes follow it there.

I'm not into graphic, as my love is for IM and affiliate instead..haha
And now i'm trying a forum niche so (hopefully) can earn some money from adsense and other ads.

i really like the font in the 4th one, i think no matter what image you use, that is definitely the way the texts should look. It's very modern and follows the current web trends

No sorry you misunderstand. I mean, its a site about IM , NOT about Graphic Design, so you dont NEED a wild logo. I think the best logo is one that blends into your background, just standing out enough to create a brand. And again, I think #1 does that the best.

The reason I really don't like #3, is because I have sat here for 10 minutes, and I dont really understand what it is. It looks like money on a Grapefruit. The little picture thing is very distracting to me, and you don't want people to be distracted and spending time analyzing your logo.

Its an IM site, the logo needs to give you the BASIC message, the URL, and thats all. That is my opinion anyways, obviously others disagree, but what standpoint are they looking at it from? From a design standpoint, or a end-user standpoint?
