Which Linux distro do you use and why?

I personally use Ubuntu 20.04.1 as host and kali and tails as VM's plus some vulnerable VM's to test some stuff.

Interested to hear what do you use.

Ubuntu is my favorite distro. Then probably Cent OS after that.

lets see
for vps/server = centos
for homepc = debian

centos coz its really easy to install any panel to control domains on a server
and debian coz i have been using the same distro since the debian woody came out around 2002
i have try a lot of distros over the years and i like ubuntu but never stick to it

For my PC and laptop, I use Linux Mint Cinamon. It's stable and simple.

For my server, I use Ubuntu.

Gentoo, but using Ubuntu 20.04 with AwesomeWM now, cause I don't have much spare time atm

Ubuntu Server for servers for same reason, easier to maintain and have vendors' packages always at your disposal

Ubuntu any day. I have 20.x installed, and it works pretty well. Although there's occasional display driver issue, but that's because of nvidia not caring about linux users. I don't blame ubuntu for that. Otherwise, it's super productive.

Debian and Ubuntu. I used Centos several years ago, but it was hard to upgrade it.

For desktop i used to play with Manjaro/Ubuntu, for server i like CentOS/Debian.

Had Ubuntu previously years back as its more like windows. And now centos Is my favourite been using it for 2 years now

Linux Mint Cinnamon on my desktop because I came to the light from the darkness of Windblows, and it was the smoothest transition to make. Ubuntu Server in the cloud, because it just feels right. Intermittently mess around with kali to explore and satisfy my own curiosities.

I use Solus, it's a rolling release which means its packages are always updated and you never have to do an OS version upgrade. Sometimes rolling release distros can be unstable but I found Solus to be stable and polished. It's easy to use and it has a great desktop enviroment based on GNOME (but way better than GNOME) called Budgie. It's probably not the best distro for extremely advanced users, but it's more than enough for home use. I also use Ubuntu Server at work to host the company website.
