I would use neither of these, both of then use a very discernible pattern where they link to each other in a wheel and wrongly closing the loop in the linking structure.
But of the 2 I would use #1 if those were my only choices.
neither. it's pretty dang easy for google to detect that both are trying to give weight to the center page. the only advice is learn graph theory if u want to manipulate links. and you will see the beauty of maths.
