High PR private blog network + web 2.0 manual blog network + senuke web 2.0, document sharing + 2nd tier Gsa ser link do have good results for me after the lovely penguin 2.0.

Some great advice here guys. For me, article directory submissions (GoArticles and Ezine Articles), web 2.0 sites (Hubpages and Squidoo), social bookmarking (Reddit, Tumbler, Digg), and guest posting on related blogs have been most effective.

every new people ask this question , before starting thread atleast read other threads ,you will get your answer ,:frusty:
article directories, niche blog posting and commenting, stay away from squidoo now. But personally I also like to create mini nets so as not to create a foot print. But you have to also be sure to focus on the content of your back links. Make sure its quality and relevant nothing spun unless you are doing black hat stuff.

you can't honestly compare any of it, the best would be a mixed High PR of all of them relevant to you website

2. High quality manually created web 2.0 sites with unique content.
Are the best effective ones that are working for me and for my clients.
Like others have said already, having back links from multiple sources and platforms is the key. So if you ask me what is the best link building technique then I would say that it's "DIVERSITY"
