I have heard a lot about Jarvee but never used it (heard its similar to massplanner)

Anyone else tried any other bot that works well? I will be doing the M/S strategy on Instagram so I need a bot that can handle a lot of accounts at once. I was previously using Followplanner but there have not been many updates on it so I stopped using it.

Any other recommendations?

the private ones are the best, especially if you're looking to work with Instagram for the long game. Jarvee and Massplanner are the same, though they hog on ram as you scale to 50+ accounts

How much would a bot cost on an average if I get one create for me personally? Is Jarvee a good alternative for it? What language is the bot coded in?

The best bot is the one that you make for yourself as it will offer you everything you need.
 
The best 'bot' or automated program, is one you make for yourself
It will contain all the features you need and you can control it to function exactly as you prefer
The perfect bot is the one you create for yourself—you hold the keys to what it can do and you never have to worry about it breaking
But It involves developer skills
 
It depends on your budget but I'd rather go with Jarvee than buying/coding a bot :)
A bot can cost a lot, everything depends on what you need it to do.
 
Get your own private bot, there are some important issues with public bots, some of them will eat any VPS due to high CPU and RAM usage.

I wrote my own bot and it only uses around 30% of the CPU and 200MB ram (Around 3$ per month on VPS) but it doesn't make your accounts untouchable, sometimes Instagram will launch an update or make a ban wave and kill all of your accounts.
 
If you really want a Working Bot for Instagram,Switch to Mobile Automation and avoid all Bots which are Web Based or Communicate with Instagram's API.

I guess yes,There is one guy on BHW which has a Product as I described it.

Or else your Second option would be to Hire an Appium Developer to make a Custom Bot for you.

If you can pay double or triple the price of Jarvee yeah, it might be worth but at that current pricing, no. Take into consideration that you have to pay for 4g plan and buy phones. 5 per phone and running 5 isn’t recommended at all. You’ll also need a pc on 24/7

Beware on doing it yourself, you have to find the holy grail of programmers for that. The programmers that are spammers already they know the value of the project that they would be creating for you. Most will gouge you with a ridiculous price. Your best bet is to find a foreigner who is highly skilled in C#, http requests, and doesn't know that much about the world of affiliate marketing. Someone who is still wet behind the ears.

You can easily start to automate your IG accounts directly on your phone. That's the safest method. I do that successfully growing my IG accounts - 5 Instagram accounts per device without any issues. The project is open source also which is a big plus.
