Hey guys,
I just boosted a post on my Facebook page and the results are weird (to me).
The boost was a link to a blog post on the related website - a post which has an embedded Youtube video as its main content.
So I was able to track the results on the whole chain, if you see what I mean (FB > website > youtube).
(By the way, it's all free information that will be useful to anyone in the niche. Not the best content ever, but not garbage.
Actually I'm being modest. The site is the best thing someone in the niche could possibly find!)
The Facebook boost reached 3,000 people and the post got 85 likes more than a normal post. Great. A couple liked the group itself.
The blog post was read by an extra 20 people maybe? Maybe not even that.
The video was watched by, at most, one person.
So as I understand it, 3,000 people saw my post in their Facebook feed. 'Oh how shiny!' said 85 of them, who clicked on it.
But no-one read the post and no-one watched the video. (What kind of person does that?!)
I don't really want to buy likes, I want people to engage with the content.
Am I doing this wrong?
