Hi,

Which is much better All in one seo or Wordpress by yoast?...and why?.. what is the difference between the two?..

Depends what you need to do. For a much better control I recommend you Wordpress by Yoast (but it can be complicated for beginners)

I've tried both plus a few others. I do like Yoast's over All in One and didn't find it difficult to use initially.
 
All in one SEO is good for starters. But I am using Yoast right now and its working well.
 
I agree with everyone. Both of them are good but yoast has more options such as having the Google friendly site map already in the one plugin. If you use ALL in One you will be using more plugins to accomplish the same thing..

When setup correctly, i recommend Wordpress by Yoast also
 
I'm currently using: Platinum SEO Pack. And I like it a lot.
 
I started with Yoast which seemed overwhelming at first (very little SEO experience at the time), but I watched the yt video that gave instructions on the the entire plug-in, which helped tremendously. I can't post the link, but I found it gave a simplified breakdown of it.
 
Yoast is by far the best. It takes a little research to get everything functioning properly, but you can't beat all the features it offers. Also the yoast site/blog does a pretty good job in helping you get it set-up and tuned properly.
 
Yoast is the best, but I have found that it sometimes conflicts with other plugins (or custom functions). If that is the case, or if you are just overwhelmed by it, then go with All-In-One to start with.
 
The sitemap from Yoast is much better than the sitemap from xml-sitemaps plugin. I really like Yoast after redoing my main business website.
 
Last weeks SEO Ultimate offers more and more really interesting updates. Check it also.

I have used both. I have ranked sites with both and have had success using nothing as well. I think it's just preference really. Now that I have gotten much better with Php I try to not use any plugins.

For starters I would say go with All in one.

Watch a few YouTube tutorial and one can easily become a pro. I watched two videos about half hour in length and learned everything that one needs to know.
