Which is better for marketing? Which gives you the best results per fan or follower?

people are tend to say that FB is more responsive, that's why i'm twittering, i like to swim against the tide :)

The WF thread has more responses:

Just saying..

Since past few months, a lot of Internet Marketers have noticed that fb is more responsive as compared to twitter.

For my own sites, I find that a person coming from fb on my site spends at least more than 30% of time spent by people coming from twitter

Can i ask questions too? :D
Which is mostly done?
Posting on WALL?? or Tweeting? ;)

Facebook is much more harder to get in this days. Friends adding don't work, they will ban you. For me Twitter is much more simple and easy

Twitter is way simpler therefore this comes with the evident downside of being more exposed to trivial spamming... FB on the other hand allows you to create fan pages, groups, events and code your own apps that can go viral with a bit of luck and on a good day generate way more per app than you can ever dream of with twitter...

In my experience FB is more responsive.

People use Twitter wrong, that's why. I have 7300+ niche followers on twitter than all retweet and @ me all of the time because I give them quality links to my sites articles and they care about them.

If you're being legit, Twitter is a fantastic tool, also the fact I follow very few people and have that many followers also means that it helps to boost my SERP massively, as we know twitter accounts with a lot of weight directly contribute to SERP.

i have never had any decent results from twitter - maybe im just doing it wrong tho?
facebook on the other hand, i have had some excellent results.

fb is viral, where twitter is just like email marketing in a different package if you ask me.

Facebook is much easier to start with then twitter. But if you use twitter right, which will take long time then it's better.

For me twitter is more responsive but facebook makes me more money.
