Which do you think is much better?

Approved 20 different Guest post/ article directory sites (each article is unique) with link/s on the bio section only. OR
Approved 10 different articles distributed on 5 Guest post/ article directory sites (each article is unique) with author bio and contextual links

I would rather say 20 approved blog posts on different blogs... That's it! Do not get into directory submission and all that stuff.
Just pull your backlinks and traffic from single submission.
