Which is better BLOGSPOT or WORDPRESS?

I personally prefer wordpress blogs (out of the free providers). They are more adaptable and offer greater functions. With that said, I would always suggest you stick to your own self hosted blog.

Blogger is good if you don't want to put much money into whatever you're doing, Wordpress is good if you're willing to go self-hosted (so you can get the good plugins, etc.) and really put a lot of effort into whatever you're doing.

i think this subject is for professionals, who knows all techinques, finished white hat, black hat... etc. Getting the idea, techinques and philosophy is much more important. Wordpress or Blogspot are the tools not the aim.

Damn right, the tools you use are not the question - it is the content and backlinks that realy matter.

I prefer wordpress personally.

both are good, but just be patient with blogger, if you haven't notice, take a look at the biggest sites, alexa.com, twitter.com, google, all their blogs are serviced by blogger, and their pr is around 6 and 7. So it's not really who's better, it's about patience in working your blog, I had an experiment before with a blogger, I did a linkbuilding project on it too early, and google just sandboxed it after a week. So keep building your site, google will give you a reward for it.

Google has more control with Blogspot blogs, they get de-indexed or sandboxed more easly.
