Wordpress is far popular and easy to use.
Which is better, Blogger or Wordpress?

With both Wordpress.com and Blogger actually owning your blog from thier point of view. I think that wordpress has a slight advantage over Blogger. Why? It is easier to move your backups to another host with ease if you do find yourself in the position of getting a blog deleted, which can arbitrarily happen on either platform.
Blogger also allows you to export your blog, but as it is Blogger speak and uses an XML templating system that is incompatible with no other platform (I actually came back to edit the double neg, but will leave it in to urk the perfectionists) , including wordpress it is worthless for rehosting (though you can dig through the code and get you articles (pain in the ass).
I have tried to re upload a banned blogger blog to another account, and I have not lost the other account automatically for doing so, but it never SERPS like the original, no matter how much it ages or is backlinked (I have only done this twice, so it is an unreliable sampling volume).
In both situations, you will have to automate from offsite, either using rss to email or other self (or another service) hosted solution, as Wordpress.com does not allow plugins, thus automated SEO is unavailable in the form of a plugin, thus "theoretically" Blogger would have an "out of the box" SEO advantage with the same content.
While both blogger and wordpress.com allow you to choose from several themes, the actual variety can at first be decieving. Wordpress.com has more themes to offer, but Blogger allows you to install 3rd party themes. This makes Wordpress.com the actual loser in this category with seemingly more to offer at first.
There is actually a third option that you can consider, and that is to choose a free third party host and install wordpress on it yourself. For free, this is technically the best solution, but you will normally have to work even harder to get the SEO results "out the box" than either B or WP.com. This will haowever allow you to impliment a lot more bells, whistles, tricks, and even booby traps if you wish.
Just remember, SEO aside, don't be a DA... backup what ever you use. Hopefully you will always outgrow your current needs (that is a part of success), and with option 1 or 3, you are an upload and DNS change away from starting over with at least your themes, content, and addition plugins and custom coding content intact.
Before everyone slams me with the information that you can transfer complete blogs from one platform to another with tools, I completely understand that, but I think the OP was smart in asking this question (though he caught some flack for it) so that he could avoid such a situation.
I hope that you have been helped. Lots of good info in this useless thread, so take my advice with a bucket of salt, forget about blogging, and move on to ewhoring. I don't need any more competition. Good luck.

Hi, i am new to this forum, i would say word press is better blogging platform as there are many new pluggins also available to customize your blog so that you can get better transperancy.
