+1 Vote for Grammarly. It's good and effective to use. It's worth trying buddy.

Both Grammarly and Ginger It are good for a newbie writer or for someone who is not confident with his or her English yet.
One thing I don't like about Grammarly is that it doesn't care about the writer's persona or style in writing. There are thoughts that are best delivered in a passive sentence but Grammarly makes it appear critical when the sentence is not in an active voice. Where's the danger in it? There are clients who are not confident with their English. When they see the word "critical issues" by Grammarly, they make it a big deal as if the world ends later at 3PM. Of course, it's a marketing trick for Grammarly to pick adjectives, like "critical", so that free accounts would be lured to become a premium Grammarly user to reveal those "critical issues".

Why send a report to a customer showing critical issues? Before sending the report just remove the highlights in grammarly and send the report with 100%. Make your customer have peace of mind.

That is the easier route, @Bedbug. However, sometimes, the easier routes are not always the right routes to take. Like what I've said, there are thoughts that are best delivered in a passive voice. Grammarly is allergic to sentences in a passive voice. The types of people I am referring to are those who take Grammarly's suggestions literally without trying to check and balance why did the writer still chose the passive voice.

Its not an easier route... grammarly passive alerts are pure shyt. If you send clients report with that crap you will hurt your business in the long run... you will loose clients because of a software issue you did not ignore. I sincerely cant imagine you send clients reports with that passive shyt. Why? Why shoot yourself?

@Bedbug, if you're pertaining to what I do, your comment doesn't apply to me. I don't use Grammarly. My comment is focused on "why I don't use it".
We proofread our work with our bare eyes.
If you're assuming that I deliver my client's orders with that report from Grammarly, no, I don't do that. Even if I were using Grammarly, I don't have to attach Grammarly's report. Anyone who has a Grammarly account (free or premium) can check anything.

Hi,
Ginger Software offers some great features for writers, I’ve been using both and found that Ginger actually was able to detect some common mistakes that Grammarly has missed, I would go with Ginger but since both are free you can use both at the start and see which one fits you the most!
