I think, it's the other way around actually.

Cover is not general (or at least it's not the best word for it), but it can have multiple meaning. If we take what it means in music, then it's a smaller sub niche within music, whereas Sing is broader. It's more general within music than Cover.

OP can use the Cover one for different purposes, exactly because of the multiple meaning. Right from the moment he starts to use it in context, the meaning should be obvious. If OP wants to use it for cover songs, then he will build the account around that, he will link it with his music channel on Youtube, so no-one will think, it's an account about book covers. Plus that one is more reasonably priced.
