Currently I have a Godaddy Deluxe Hosting account, but it expires in 30 days from now on. Their renewal fees are seemed to be so high. So I thought of moving to another hosting provider. My main concerns are Low Price and High Uptime because I don't want to see my site down always and whenever people come visit the site.

After some searches through internet, I came up with 2 providers; ipage.com and fatcow.com

iPage.com $1.99 per month ($24 per year)
Fatcow.com $40 per year

Both seem to be cheap and promotions are gonna end very soon, so I need to act quicly and grab one.

So far godaddy gave a good service, and I want to expect such a reliability from those also. Therefore I need help from you guys in selecting one of above. Which one would you prefer me ipage.com or fatcow.com.

hostwinds (a bhw member promoting it and lots of good reviews)
stablehost

+1 for Hostwinds

Fatcow and iPage both are shitty.

Considering they're owned by the same people, I doubt they will be much different, speed and service wise. I'd recommend InterServer all day long or iPage if you're set on going with one of the two listed above.

Don't go for ipage, you will experience constant down times. Check servino, they are good.

Another +1 for hostwinds. They have the best support I've experienced from a hosting company, and their servers are top notch, fast and reliable.

And I'm not even being paid to say that ;)

I've been using iPage for almost an year and it's been shitty at the beginning, but it's ok now. I even had 16k-20k traffic /day on it for few days while I was trying some fb experiments and the load time wasn't fantastic but it worked. I did get a warning for it, but I was surprised the server didn't crash at that high traffic. Anyway, if I were to make short review, iPage is ok, but I'm not sure how reliable it is long-time. I wouldn't vouch for them. FatCow is the same s**t, just with a different name and pricing.

If I were you I'd avoid those that promise "Unlimited", you never know what you're paying for because there's no such thing is unlimited. Usually, they actually have pretty low limits. Anyway, if I were to recommend, my personal favorite is Digital Ocean, Ubuntu 12.04 + nginx, works very good. Good luck!

I'm using fatcow hosting and I'm satisfied with the service they offer. It's very good hosting for the money and what suits me most is their support... fast response always. I'm 2 months there, so far so good.
Btw there is discount (can't remember for the code) so you can get much cheaper than $40/year.

+1 for hostwinds, get yourself business hosting, they use litespeed servers and have less sites on the server too so your site will actually load really fast. My site loads in about 2 seconds and I haven't even optimized it for speed yet in contrast my sites on hostgator load in about 3-4 seconds before I optimize them for speed.
