Yes, you need to be able to know what your doing, since their support is not that newbie friendly .. If they fix that, they would make a lot more money .. =)

I use a company called Just Host Me (British company, not to be confused with JustHost.com), quick setup and only £2.99 a month plus their servers will cope with a fair amound of traffic for the cash.

For anything that's going to be dealing with huge traffic I tend to use WPX Hosting. It's quite expensive but very good for high traffic sites once you lay a CDN over the back of it.

10$/years , 20 GB files, 5 addon domain, unlimited bandwidth.

I suggest Contabo.

I prefer to go for higher plans only

I use Hostgator, it works perfect for me.

Hostgator since 6 years. Never thought of changing it because it does the job that i require. Support is very good 24x7.
