Which habit changed your life?

best habbits:

1. waking up before 5AM.

When I had my software development agency and I had to manage 20 people this was like having a real-life superpower. Before everyone started their work, I was 6 hours ahead of everybody.

Now Im on my own and I still tend to keep this habit, I'm on a vacation, but woke up before 6AM anyways despite having a lot of beers yesterday and partying till 2AM. Friends still sleeping but Im doing some work, reading and writing.

If you dont mind reading a bit cheezy stories, pick up this book - "5AM club", it helped me a lot.

2. reading books, it helped me to change my view on a lot of work and health-related things. Like a lot. My life did a full 180" flip.

bad habbits:

I still fight procrastination and not being able to eat healthy.
Good to find out you've been running an agency.
playing so much with your dopamine receptors will do no good. there is no work/reward in this(well, ofc if you do it very, very passionately..but still), better to switch that to something that requires small work but benefits your health, like small tasks away from your desk, - doing pushups, small chores around your house, etc. It will help you to wind your head and you will feel better.

I am doing all of that. It's just problematic to sit hard half the day.

People smoke weed and drink alcohol throughout their day. Wank is nothing in terms of harm.

Yea, cigs definetely killer...But positive habit is not being lazy! If decided to do something, i'm not planning, doing immediately !

Getting sleep right is a killer one. Once I started psychotherapy I noticed how big toll its taken on my mental health to sleep 5 hours and have low quality sleep.
In fact my sleep schedule would spin out of control so easily, one week I'd go to sleep at 6 am and the next week I'd go to sleep at 6 pm.
If you get your schedule right and manage to regenerate yourself, you'll feel like a child and be happy without any drugs or other hard stimuli.

after braces I started to change a lot of habits, one of which is becoming lazy to eat

My habits are coffee and cigarettes and food lol... And all of that change me but in a negative way... What are your positive or negative habits that change your life? :)
Waking up early in the morning has made a lot of positive changes in my life.

Have a strict sleep schedule. Everything changes when you have it, especially psychologically.

Bad: Easily lose that schedule

Very inspiring. My first bad habit that changed my life was stop smoking, following up with occasional running and exercise.

But the biggest thing that helped me eat more healthily was going Vegan! Yes I know it may sound crazy to some of you (oh no another Vegan) but it really shifted perception of the world for me. And if you do it for the right reasons like I did, which was saving animals, it becomes easy to make it your habit and search for easy vegan recipes that are delicious. I would recommend you start with some energy balls, that will boost your energy and help you fight procrastination.

Try removing only pork, and later chicken and lastly fish if you want to do it slowly (I did it this way as it can be hard to cut it completely suddenly)
If you need some more support I am vegan nutritionist and can ask me anything in PM. Hope it helps! Ps. I need help with waking up at 5am :D

Stop procrastination = winning!

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
