I know people in Kyrgyzstan with ferrets so I still think my ferret idea good or send them whiskey.

Lots of smaller gifts are always better, it makes them feel like they're getting more. They also feel less guilty than if you show up with something dumb expensive.

I bulk-buy boxes and cylinders from the craft store just for that. And because of covid bath&body (and others) drops crazy sales so getting those for future gifting helps a lot.
