Which free AI can write quality content that ranks ?

StefanBrain is pretty good and its an AI built by a marketer for marketers. I think the most important piece of any AI starts with how you prompt it. The best AI tool in the world is still gonna suck if you dont prompt it correctly. Then its just all about tweaking it. I personally don't tweak it manually on the first run through. I continuously use AI to retweak it until the very final edit where I add some human touches to it.

using agents to generate sections in parallel sounds good on paper but usually ends up a mess because the subagents don't know what the others just wrote. you get a lot of repetitive transitions and weird structural overlap. better to use a single long-context session with claude 3.5 sonnet and feed it scraped competitor outlines and live people also ask questions first. the model needs real-time data from the current serps otherwise it just hallucinates the same generic fluff as every other site.

none of the free ones really write stuff that ranks well on their own. you still have to heavily edit it

Yeah. That was too broad.... I was talking about basic drafting, not saying every model does the same thing equally well. Which free one do you think is actually noticeably better for content?

tbh claude 3.5 sonnet is still the king for writing flow, gpt4o just sounds way too robotic. but you definitely have to do it section by section. if you try to generate the whole thing at once it just repeats the same three points over and over to hit the word count... doesn't matter what prompt you use.

It used to be that poor writing was a mark of spamminess, now even good writing can look that way if you're not editing out AI writing tropes and thin content (which AI is great at - writing the same message multiple times in unique ways).
