Which Domain Registrars Handle Abuse Reports Fairly?

Hey all, starting this thread to discuss how different domain registrars handle abuse reports.

I'm particularly interested in registrars that investigate complaints, or bulletproof registrars, that do not believe in “suspend first, investigate later” approach.

For context, I’ve been with NiceNIC since 2024, and my experience has been positive. Whenever abuse reports were submitted, they forwarded the complaints to me, gave me an opportunity to respond, and reviewed the situation before taking any action on my domain. I appreciate that they don’t automatically suspend domains just because a complaint is received. In my case, they looked into the matter and considered the facts before making a decision. Thank you @nicenic! I like how you protect legitimate domain owners from unsupported or malicious abuse complaints.
I thought I’d share my experience because I’ve seen some misunderstandings about them in recent discussions.

Apart from NiceNIC, Has anyone dealt with WebNIC.cc? There's too little information available on BHW on WebNIC, on how do they handle the abuse reports? Any feedback on them?

Would love to hear your experiences and recommendations on this, let's help each other sharing good registrars!

webnic is kinda mid tbh. they act like they care but the moment a serious spamhaus or registry level complaint comes in they will lock your domain without warning. niceNIC is decent for basic stuff but if you are doing anything heavy you need to look at offshore registrars. just my experience but dont rely on webnic if you expect actual complaints to roll in... they fold pretty quick under pressure.

Yes, that’s why I love NiceNIC, and they are my go to choice.

People confuse registrar tolerance with registry tolerance, different thing.

NiceNIC is decent if your paperwork is clean and you actually reply properly. Main thing imo is dont keep all domains in one place, and dont assume any registrar will fight for you if the complaint has enough weight behind it. Keep screenshots, opt-in logs, content proof, all that boring stuff, because when they ask and you answer fast it makes a difference.
