Which Domain Is Better?!!

Ok So I want to target one keyword and registered for it .us domain
it's 2 keywords long keyword.
.com/net/org wasn't free with or without dash.
Only I was able to get those 2.

Keywordphrase.us
and
bestkeywordphrase.net

I want to target visitors ONLY form US anyways so in Terms of seo what do you think did I made the right decision by registering that exact keyword .us , instead of adding some extra word for the domain and taking .net ?
I know its told that extensions doesnt makes a difference but still what u think?
Maybe you got any experience yourself with .us domains?

Yup. Already got it.. Actually I was suprised myself that it's actually free since it's premium keyword and gets 140k exact US searches/month.
Could easily sell for $1k even without traffic.. Seems someone forgot to renew it
