Which cryptos should I accept for payment?

So I think I made a thread like this 1 or 2 years ago, but things change, so I'll ask again.

I have a website where I accept Crypto for payments, and now I'm adding it on one more website. I use Coinpayments to accept payments.

Here is what I accept:

I think Coinpayments offers most cryptos. Should I add any other crypto?

Have you considered adding USDT?
It's a stable coin with the USD rate. Other coins such as bitcoins, bitcoin cash tends to fluctuate in price.
 
Ye, you could add a few stable coins. I suggest DAI, USDC or USDT.

Other than that, maybe ZEC
 
Its only one coin which are DOZE

You're already accepting good ones.

I can't find DOZE in the list of coins on Coinpayments.

Okay, so I wanted to add Cardano, but it seems Coinpayments doesn't have it.

I wanted to add Chainlink, but I don't understand. What's the Chainlink code (btc, eth)? Can't seem to find it. Coinpayments may not offer it either.

But I do need your cryptxperts (crypto experts :p ) to tell me about that USDT business. Do I keep both of them or just one of them? And if it's one of them, which one?

LOL, nice they give you the option. They should have the same value. The ERC20 is on Ethereum and the other one is on Bitcoin. Both are managed by the same entity. I would go with ERC20. It's easier to use and will be more scalable as time goes on. Also the value is similar to DAI and USDC. They should all be equal to 1 USD.

So you recommend I only go with the ERC20, not both of them?

Any crypto payments I receive are for hodling anyway. I consider them more an investment funded by customers than income... for now... :p

Well, I'm not sure what the least fee networks are. But I think accepting the most popular Cryptos is good enough.

Hm, yeah that's probably possible. But I don't really want to do that.

I accept only the most popular cryptos, and as much as they fluctuate in value, I just keep them as they are, and HODL :p

But yeah, it's definitely a good idea for more security. Auto-convert any received crypto to a crypto that's stable.

Yeah, I guess I could. Don't auto-convert the ones that I would like to hold, and auto-convert everything else the moment I get it.

That way I can accept pretty much all cryptos the exchanges I use offer, with little risk.

Maybe in the future, good idea :)

So I also added Coinbase as a payment method on my site.

I shared a screenshot above of all the Cryptos I accept via Coinpayments, and here is what I take with Coinbase:

Coinbase offers many less cryptos to accept for payment than Coinpayments does, at least when using Coinbase Commerce, which is what I used.
