What do you guys think. Is it better to have an actual landing page talking about the product or directly sending the user to the product page. Which has been more profitable for you?

Hmmmm...try testing and when you are sick of testing do some more...In other words
there is no set way. It depends on your market and how much you have already warmed
them up. In general a landing page seems to mostly work better for me, but again that
will depend on the quality of your landing page and the copy...

Weirdly, sending people directly to the offer page seems more profitable for me. I have always thought otherwise.

I personally hate being jerked around, so i always direct linked. If for some reason, you didnt like thier landing page, you can make your own and direct link it from there.

I always think a landing page is the way to go. The review style normally works for me. Also if you are using adwords to get the traffic you will find it hard to get the keywords for a good price on a direct link page as you will have to bid high to beat other bidders.

Direct linking often seems to spammy for me, most people need to be softly sold on the merits of the product before going to a CPA landing page.

Agree that you MUST try squeeze pages, I am doing this now...

The idea of each one is that each page shows a different perspective for what you are selling

lets say you are selling watches.

1 - page shows a man wearing the watch with a giant cock
2 - page shows the benefits of the watch when in Isreal
3 - Shows the technical aspects of why the watch is good
4- Shows why the watch is better and why you need one.

Looking at the results you can see what your buyers are thinking, for example if they think the watch will give them a giant cock, then that page will convert and that perspective needs to be explored further.

for example

Ok so I know that my penis watch page works well, this means this is a subject people care about right

1. Another page about cock size and watches
2. Another page about a man who got lots of women from having a giant cock and watch
3. Etc etc

Got it?

you can search in download section for landing pages, I have download several...

With all the guys saying that their CPA companies steel their campaign from them. How do you hide/fake your referer to hide your converting keywords from them?

I think it depends on the product. If its expensive you need to lure in the customer more with a landing page..... People dont shell out lots of cash without research so any extra pages is good I guess.

well it funny that you asked that becouse i was wondering about that aweek ago and talked to somebody who works for a banner network and they told be a landing page works better then direct just make sure the land page has all the info of your product

My 2 cents - 10 years tells me - depends on what product you are pusing - digital - landing page - physical - direct linking - cpa direct linking

correct , depend only and only about the product which you try to sell / increase the sales , actually .... it's about the marketplace , best way always is to spy a little on the competitors always , then do exactly what they aren't doing :D

For me i always use a squeeze page. Sometimes it can start out a little slow but believe me, in a years time when you have thousands of subscribers and you can hit out a relevant offer and make hundreds of sales for only a few hours work you will also agree.

Landing pages, direct linking should be outlawed :P It's basically pissing money away.

Depends really. An attractive landing page can get more leads than a direct page
