I scraped 10 high metrics expired domains all with different topics. One for church, another for technology and others are for music, travel, military and so on. My money site deals with food.
To build pbn i will create contents for those expired domains, i have two options: 1. create similar topics like before on expired domains and only in linking articles with some text related to my money site food. 2. create mainly food related contents on all expired domains. Which option is the better one?

If you can get the original content of the domain, that's the best way (I mean the old content it had before the domain becomes expired). And then do as you say, "linking articles with some text related to my money site food"

Both of them work though I would prefer the latter as I will try to build relevant pbns to pass the manual reviews.

How do you think about this way can pass manual review by google?

The latter will pass the same juice like the first way?

I've always thought that creating article like these were good:

If the PBN is on the topic of squirrels and your money site is about making money, you will create an article with both topics. So in this case, it should be something like "Selling squirrels to make money"

If you are wondering if negative SEO has happened to your site, there are two simple ways to determine this:

If you have a notice in Google Webmaster Tools for either malware notification or unnatural link building, there is a good chance negative SEO has taken place (assuming you didn't do any unnatural SEO to your own site).
If your analytics data is reporting a huge drop in search traffic, there is a good chance some negative SEO happened (assuming you didn't do anything to break Google's webmaster guidelines).

I Agree with this

You can do both since it is relevant to your money site.

If you are only linking to one money site in a particular niche then go ahead and create content relevant to that niche. However, if you are building links to money sites in different niche, then you can as well post general niche content which includes the original content of the expired domain.

The main topic of the site would be its original topic, but create there also a section or category with articles related also to your main site topic. I.e. content in this section should be mixed, related to both topics. Sometimes it's not so simple, need to play very creatively.
