The chicken and the egg misery still haven't been resolved. Which do you guys think came first? The chicken or the egg?
Don't know the answer, that's why I'm asking. LolVery good question, what do you think the answer is?
It's true. Both birds and reptiles are descended from the group Reptilia. Birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs, sharing over 100 traits with modern birds. Eggs came first.Bird evolved from lizards... Lol, first time seeing this.
Then where did the egg come fromchicken came first from eggs![]()
Nicely putIt's true. Both birds and reptiles are descended from the group Reptilia. Birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs, sharing over 100 traits with modern birds. Eggs came first.
"Eggs are much older than chickens. Dinosaurs laid eggs, the fish that first crawled out of the sea laid eggs, and the weird articulated monsters that swam in the warm shallow seas of the Cambrian Period 500 million years ago also laid eggs. They weren't chicken's eggs, but they were still eggs."

The cleidoic or shelled egg appeared first, in the Carboniferous period, some 360 to 290 million years ago. Dinosaurs didn't make it on the scene until the Mesozoic era, some 245 to 65 mya.Ok Dinosaurs laid eggs. But wich came firs eggs or Dinosaurs?
