It would be important and interesting to see which browser, very Internet People are Using... IE still leads market with 70% share Firefox takes 20 or 25% google chrome market share 3% in first week,If im not wrong... I my self use firefox obviously and I hope many people here would be using but I shall not use google chrome due to members here discussing it and telling about its good and bad points..
Yes dude that's what I believe many BlackHat and people with little brain use firefox ... People using IE are those who just use Internet to get their asses entertained and help us...
I WAS using firefox - for the last few years but it kept getting buggy on me after version 2 came out, Found Flock a few months ago and since it lets me use all my favoite firefox Plug ins, I switched. Works great! Worst cae though I think I would go back to firefox or reading html in NOTEPAD before I ever used IE again!
I agree you google chrome have very clean layout and working fast very easy to use too ... but black hat people can't deny many facts about it... I would love to see We playing with Google CHrome users thru cookies and other tricks but it is little harder or impossible may be to do with google chrome
'...Firefox has all the bells and whistles, if you're into that. I appreciate things that help me work faster or smarter but I don't like gimmicks. The problem with FF is it's such a RAM-memory hog that I have to keep re-starting it as it gradually slows down. Any 'normal' person wouldn't experience that. Let me explain... The work I do is intense and at any one time I can have dozens of Internet windows or tags open. I actually work on three computers connected to the web at the same time, flitting from one to another. It can get manic. Two are Mac the other a Windows XP laptop. In addition, my girlfriend has two Mac she uses for her Internet Marketing business. We sit opposite each other at huge desks in our home/office and we can barely see each other behind the large monitors I need for graphics. I have a total of nine browsers on the Macs and can have several open at the same time as they all have different functions. I have all nine on each Mac computer. On the Windows I just have IE and Firefox. On the Mac these are: Firefox Flock Netscape Internet Explorer for Mac Safari Camino Shiira Sunrise Opera Opera is speedy and automatically downloads torrents within the browser although for most Torrents I use Transmission as Azureus is also a memory-hog. Safari shows the best source code if I'm stealing things. Camino allows me to have the most pages open without any glitches. Right now I'm in Camino and have over 60 pages open on one computer, and everything is still snappy. If I was in Firefox the computer would be almost at a standstill by now. (Don't worry, everything is clutter-free using 'Spaces' Mac's virtual desktops feature, I can create up to 16 separate work spaces and toggle between them all). I also have 24 Torrent downloads running and half-a-dozen uploads AND I'm rendering high-end graphics in Photoshop, all on ONE computer, so there's a lot of pull on the memory AND because I'm on a Mac, it's all nice and stable so I don't have to worry about a freeze-up or a crash. Firefox seems to be everyone's favourite, but it isn't mine. Of the two, I like Flock better and you can still use the same add-ons as in Firefox as it's out of the same stable. I will not be using Chrome! Oh!...and I've been working since 1.00am and it's now 5.30am here in Thailand. I work better through the night but have only thirty minutes left before it's daylight. themagician
google chrome is fast and sleek the only down fall is that I can not use roboform with the new browser. I contacted roboform and they did confirm that roboform can't be used with google chrome.
to me firefox, has always been a pain in the ass , slow to load the browser and slow to load the pages , saying that ive got chrome, firefox, ie and opera , maybe you guys should work together and make your own bhw browser and compete with the world.
I use Firefox. When I wanted to get away from IE, I originally tried out Opera. I LOVED it, and thought it was great, but this was a few years ago, and many pages I surfed to simply just did not work in Opera. I broke down and finally checked out FireFox, and have been pretty happy ever since! One of the things that has been true in the past, is that the virus writers will target where the majority of people are. That is one of the reasons why IE has so many exploits - 1, it's suppossed to have more security holes to try and hit, and; 2, it's always had more people using it, and if you are a virus writer, you want to focus your time on what is going to be the most productive. At least, that's what I've always been told. Checking this link: Code: http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp shows that IE has 50.6% market share, and FireFox has 43.7% market share... (for August '08) So it looks like Ffox is getting to be just as popular as IE. That makes me worried, and makes me want to switch to something less popular, LOL!
That is because only web developers go to that site, it is a tech savvy audience, unlike the general population. IE still has around 70-80%
I would use any browser except for IE. firefox & safari are the two browsers that i usually use.. They both have very imp. Features that are not in IE
