Which browser do you use? Which one is the safest?

Use chrome for usual internet work. I like how they collect data to improve my exprience btw

For IM work I use firefox

Privacy from google is not a concern. Always use a paid vpn that don't log of you're worried about privacy

I always go with Firefox because it is not related to any big companies like Microsoft or Google.

I'm surprised no one mentioned disabling 3rd party cookies. No matter what browser your use you should consider blocking 3rd party cookies if you don't want to be tracked (I'm using FF BTW). All browsers have a setting for this.

3rd party cookies is how Google tracks your surfing on any page that has Analytics/AdWords/G+ Button/etc installed. Some features won't work, such as Facebook integration on 3rd party sites, but that's BECAUSE it's protecting your privacy.

Firefox always , though it takes more time - Major corps Browser spys on our info.

I use Chrome now, simply because for whatever reason, the Wordpress Interface would lag hardcore when using Firefox (any version). I tried fixing It for over a month, but couldn't get It to be normal with Wordpress, and that's the platform most of my blogs run on.

I don't know what caused It, but there were a few others that had the same Issue as me.

Figures I'm interested in an original answer as well. :-)

I use Opera, which pretty much had all I needed. Until they switched to a new engine and made it another clone of Chrome. The old version I use is slowly getting outdated, some websites dont open as expected anymore (google adwords is one of them).

I have the 4 main browsers installed: Opera, Firefox, Chrome and IE9. Chrome I dont trust and its a pain in the ass to use for simple tasks like copy/paste, IE is a champion when it comes to installing viruses, Firefox is slow and lacks the features of Opera, and I badly need an alternative to Opera.

So I'll rephrase the OP's question, anything better than those 4?

I notice a slight difference in speed, but Firefox still makes me happy. Works and didn't yet crash at all!

Maxthon browser has yet to disappoint, other than the lack of extensions, it has not crashed on me once. Firefox is slow for me & I dont trust Big G much, so I only use those browsers for the extensions & site testing.

ps** I run all my browsers & programs for that matter through sandboxie btw

Firefox, even when it's not the fastest browser, it still has a large community full of contributors. This is what makes Firefox is so great!

Cheers,

I believe fire fox is still best for security. Even though IE & chrome is good.

If you want safest, then Tor is probably best. But any browser can be safer with an added safety extension. I like torch browser a lot because it's chromium based, but with embedded software for downloading content and unblocking sites. If you're just gonna browser then I think FF or chrome is just fine.

Speed depends on the addons and extensions you attach to your browser. If you really want to speedup your browser, just try to use it without addons. I use one browser with addons for research and other SEO stuff and another one without addons for forums and non SEO stuff and I see huge differences in speed.
