which best methods to gain watch time?

I believe it is the knowledge of the most that youtube changed its algorithm to watch time instead of clicks. I searching for some methods to leave my videos running on my pc to receive watch time. But i know youtube use cookies and get my IP to prevent system abuse, but I'm still want some method that give me best results.

At first i tried using TOR and leave my videos running in a playlist as anonymous, but it's not working, now i am thinking to mount a virtual machine on my PC and use a VPN on it and leave my videos running, but still i don't know if gonna work, my idea is to make a playlist running until the last video and after it reconnect the VPN to get a new IP and repeat the process.

Someone can help me on tips and methods to receive watch time? i know it seen pointless, but i believe is better to have 1 view watch the whole video (i have some videos with 1 to 4 hours length) than have a bunch of clicks that watch it for only 30 seconds.
