Which antivirus program for sb?

I'm looking for an antivir program which works very fast and doesnt need much resources.

I'm running several instances of scrapebox at the same time. example:

Fastposter - 50 connections
Linkchecker - 40
Ping - 50

I have Kaspersky 2012, but Im not satisfied with it. I have an i7-860 and after a while cpu is on 100% and I think Kaspersky has hung up.

Any recommendation for me?

I use AVG free edition. It has been working fine for me. I also have spybot and spywareblaster installed.
 
I use eset nod32, which has a great detection rate but a really low footprint. I rarely run my blog lists through the phishing/malware filters these days and I don't have any problems.

It's also a great idea to keep MalwareBytes installed on your computer as it is the easiest cure-all for any type of infection you do happen to pick up. The active monitoring part of MB, however, is really annoying if you're using SB so I turn it off.
 
I also vote for Nod32, it does what it's supposed to and not much more

Try HIPS instead of conventional Antivirus. HIPS does not do insane amount of hard disk I/O as AV does and protects better.
 
AVG Internet Security 2011 - Pro - The best and the fastest.

Isn't it for a server environment? I guess OP didn't mentioned if it was a home computer or vps...

running ESET nod32 using scrapebox. pretty happy with it
 
There is no need for an antivirus if you use sandboxie. Is like a virtual PC but better because you don't need to install anything.

Just run scrapebox inside the sandbox and if any virus gets through just delete the sandbox!

Is as easy as it gets to protect your computer against viruses, give it a try you won't regret it and the price is right: FREE!
