    Hello BHW

I run a store selling hair and hair related accessories. I would like to have a affiliate store.

I would like to open a new merchant account for my affiliate store. for ex: myhair.com. When someone joins my affiliate store at myhair.com, it gives them a affiliate banner and affiliate url. (ex: store.myhair.com/tom)

of course when customer buy, I pay the affiliate. It will also in my admin to my shopping cart of my affiliate store, it will keep track of all my affiliates and there purchases.

My question is, is this a big custom job that I need done or is there a affiliate program that will fit what I need?

If this is a big job, how much would it cost and who would you recommend?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

Depending of your Shopping cart system, you might want to look for an affiliate platform on g00gle.

A small job of integration will have to be done but in most cases, it's pretty easy to do.

    Good Luck!

What you can also do is hook with an Affiliate Network and tell them about doing business online as an advertiser IN THEIR PROGRAM...
I am sure some or the other network will help you with what you wanted :)

This can be done with the help of certain websites that will show you how to make money online and build a strong clientele through the website that makes money. So be smart in choosing the http://clickconversion.net/.

You could use idevaffiliate and you should definitely use the CPS model just because of the niche you're working with.

Yea, I decided to go with Idevaffiliate. Looks like a good system. I don't know what you mean by "CPS model". Can you/someone explain that to me. Googled the term but BS stuff came up.

    CPS = Cost per sale

You'd pretty much pay affiliates based on the sales they made like...4%-10% or just your chosen percentage of the final total.

At a guess it would also be good to know how much money you think you will make from affiliates.

The networks (think CJ etc) take a fair old chunk out of your payments themselves, take away your affilite payments and you will then have to make sure you get enough to cover your material goods and a bit of profit.

If you are starting out, or are a small business you might want to start at something on your own. For example, when I used to be a web host I used WHMCS and that had its own in built affiliate program meaning I paid the affiliates and that was it, no middleman taking a bit chunk.

Hope you do well whatever you go for!

Well Im not just starting out. Been open for 6 years but expanding into more websites

We are looking to pay 10% ($20-$40). Any ideas on how to get a lot of people to sign up? Black or White hat ways? Our site gets 50k UV monthly. We are going to pitch the idea to them but looking to get more sign ups, but also people using the banners/links around the net. Any ideas?

I checked out affiliate forums such as abestweb and ewealth....maybe even warrior forum. You can also link your website in affiliate directories and going straight to the affiliate's website and hitting contact us and talking to them about your program.
