Where you getting content writers these days?

Dont you guys think you waste lot of money by hiring from fiverr making it actually expansive and low quality?
20% from seller and 10% from buyers thats 30% fee on every transaction.
Or are you able to work with them outside the platform after 1st transaction?

Hiring freelancers is bad, hire an agency that monitors or make your own team.

Not true at all. Content agencies are usually just content mills, they do very little for you in terms of creating good content. Freelancers is where it's at, you hire one at a time. They are a lot more receptive to adapting to your style, and putting in the work, agencies (in most cases) will do the bare minimum or they will charge an arm and a leg.

@DeadJoe
How will you monitor freelancers? They just use chatGPT and mess up articles,
Content agencies , atleast the good ones spend hours developing a work flow where freelancers are monitored.
They make sure research is done for every article. And there is a proofreader at the end of the process.

--------

Freelancers can be handled if you just have a few articles and you are willing to get your hands dirty and monitor there work.

Because I know what I am reading (I know my niches). Good content can be GPT assisted, it takes the same amount of time to make it coherent and high quality. The research always shows within the content itself, you don't need a GPT detector to tell you if it was a copy paste job or if someone put in the time to prepare something worthwhile.

On the other hand, if your content is simple and easily creatable via GPT then all you need is a good editor, there is no penalty for using AI content provided that it answers the search query and is well written.

I've grown blogs and sold them with only freelance writers, the last one with a team of 7 writers, all I ever did was basic edits when required. I could never get anything remotely close in quality with content agencies.

Even the top tier writers are incorporating AI in their workflow now. It is inevitable.

That is my point . You seem very well versed abut what you are doing. Which is good for you . But , it makes for a full time job . You can monitor the team , which makes you an agency in yourself. Self sufficient.

Now ask yourself, how will you grow this to a team of 50 writers.... At which point you might go to an agency.

In any case, not debating and just sharing my experience here

I am using Chatgpt to write my content , also if i want a writer am hiring a freelancer on uplub.com

Instead of hiring a writer, I prefer the content I create. Although it may not seem good at first, it can get better and better in the future.

There are quite a few people who do this and I hire them
With chatgpt everywhere it's hard to find content writers.
Where are you getting content writers?
1) for hiring for your team
2) on freelance/VA basis

Try Upwork you will find lot's of content writer also you can post want to buy section.

I find it difficult to find clients on Upwork as a writer lately. Don't know what's the problem. There is problem with writers and also with clients I guess. These shitty google updates and AI have damaged this sector.

Better start doing something else... nobody will need writers.

THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: If you do not understand SEO / Content, DO NOT invest in SEO/Content. Period

Don't ever rely on an agency to deliver top tier service, especially when it comes to SEO/Content (this is the industry with an insane amount of scam artists). If they know you are weak, they will 100% rape you to oblivion.

I have yet to see an agency that delivers good content, they are all nothing but content mills.

but they will need editors:D I don't worry a lot about that. I'm just noticing that finding a job is not as easy as it was. Maybe its the fact that I charge premium now. Who knows, need other opinions from different writers to make a good conclusion.

20$ per 1000 words sounds like a steal to me.

Can you even find one that doesnt use (gpt) «delve, explore and leverage» every other sentence?
Yes, friend of mine is a freelance writer, a very hardworking person. He will do it at around $20 per 1000 words. He is fast typer and don't make typing mistakes like he used to do when he started. You can voice call him and always here the mechanical keyboard smashinh sound haha.

BS... 20$ per 1000 words? The sound is probably fake and he uses chatgpt too...
