Where to transfer my domain to?

Ok I am fed up with my hosting providing crappy cpanel, so I decided to move domain, they said they will provide me the Authcode very soon. So where do I go to next? I don't want to be end up paying for domains again? Any where to transfer for free? Probably a well known company like godaddy?

I would suggest you dont transfer until the end of the expiration date on the domain...get NEW hosting for your cpanel issues but the domain registrar does not matter as long as your not doing anything you shouldnt be...
godaddy is awful dont use them
I have also had issues transferring domains from domainpanel I believe so...
