Where to Start?

I was just wondering ,as I sure fellow N00bs may be also, from the experienced people around here ( da ones makin da l00t) what would you suggest to get off the gound from square one (lets say from nothing). The quickest way to get your feet wet so to speak, mind you I'm not askin how too make a ton of money fast, just a jump off to building a good flow over time. There seems to be a great deal of information here and on fellow members blogs and other linked forums, and for a brainiac like me its a 'lil overwhelming, as i try to memorize everything I see. LOL , I have focus problems with new things.

I'm in a situation where I have been kinda squeezed out of my profession finacially due to personal (family) issues and am determined to sustain myself off the net.

I will certainly appreciate any advice as I'm sure others will.

LOL... well ... lets see . I'm a former scener , up until a year ago I could hack my ass off, and there isn't much i cant get my hands on . Over the last year I have backed away from it all , main reason being, it's VERY time consuming and generates no income. I have and do currently run some forums and other pages/ sites , but had never played with any way of making money with them. I'm probably doing a lot better at this point than someone who just surfed the net


I asked , because its the simple things that N00bs overlook or dont know that are what make difference between being successfull and NOT successfull. I consider myself one. I have found this forum to be extremley helpful as well as a few blogs and another forum. I guess the idea would be to gather a N00B resource list and maybe have it listed in a way that would be something like 1. most important first step 2. Don't do this 3. now go do this .. lol

dosent have to be exacting ... hell it could be go read this or that ...avoid this ... blah ....

It would make for better Q & a in the forums .....you know what they say .... you rise to your competition... thanks for the response though mate ....I'd forgotten all bout this post. As for the White or Black .... you gotta be both dont ya ... plus im a sneaky bastard ....so i deff lean more to the darkside

I think you should learn some basic SEO, it also call whitehat to know how hard is it and then discover blackhat.
