Where to start if I can.

Guys I was wondering if you could tell me which of the current black hat methods of seo would work for one of my own sites that I use to sell products. I was looking for seo services on google when I found this site and have really enjoyed reading the forum for the last 2 days. I am not sure if any of the black hat stuff could work for me and if not thats cool, I will just stay in the white hat forum. I would like more traffic and exposure but dont really want to piss off too many people.

most of them will work. Its just up to you if you want to use them or not.

Are you already doing some WH social bookmarking? if so, a real easy one to start with is in the piqq.us thread up top. Take one of the codes from up there and sign up. Be sure to enter the 3 accounts, and you can make 3 new ones if you are scared for any reason but you shouldn't be.

When you are in there long enough you will get a couple of invites that you can pass back into that thread.

You will be given some "assignments" as I like to call them where you just visit some sites and do the social thing you were sent to do. You will get points over time which can be used to run your own campaigns from within and get some traffic going back to your own sites.

It goes fast once you've been doing it for a bit, and you can encourage some good traffic surges to your site if done right.

It is a no brainer, and something easy to start with.

The other thread of interest in here that is painless is the all about backlinks and it is great reading. There are some simple ways to get some easy backlinks to your site - all legal and not too hard to do.

if you are not knowing where to start, start greyhat, then work into the more advanced things

Thanks twinkletoes (tribute to frank trigg?) for the suggestion. I will head over to that post after this. Greyhat is probably what I should be looking into for the mentioned site. I do have some other ebooks that I would like to blackhat the fuck out of to make some money to increase advertising for the legit site though. I have looked into the craiglist thing and it seems like something that I could do. Anyways I have many more hours or day of research but want to thank you guys once again.
